Josh Owen, Camera Operator
Hi, I'm Josh!
Before I took an apprenticeship at Bellyflop TV, I went to Hazel Grove High School and took my GCSE's.
I love films and making them so getting involved and being behind the camera is a dream come true! I could not be happier with my apprenticeship and I am looking forward to the future.
At Bellyflop TV I work with Jonathan on location helping with filming and learning how the kit works. One day I will be able to go out and film by myself. In the office I help Sammi and Carol working on the website, social media and editing.

Jonathan Robinson, Producer and Director
Hello, I’m Jonathan.
Back in 2008 I decided to start my own video company after spending two years as one of the first ‘YouTubers’ in the UK, and loving how you can make cost effective films the whole world can discover.
I have made broadcast TV for 20 years, from children’s programmes such as Nickelodeon and Children’s BBC, through to entertainment like Ant & Dec shows and reality and factual programmes for all of the big commercial channels in the UK. I still make some TV (such as ‘Holiday of my Lifetime’ with Len Goodman on BBC1 and ‘Secret Life of the Family’ for Channel 5).
What I love about our work is seeing a customer go from nervously enquiring about having a video made, to see them absolutely love the process of making many films for them. As we also do photography, Google Street View tours (where we do a 360 degree virtual tour around a business) and also how we share films on social media customers can rely on us for a big part of their marketing and communication.
I also love seeing how my team develop and grow their skills, and customers are so pleased they pass on our details to new customers.
Mark Robinson, Communication Support Officer
Hi, I'm Mark.
Prior to joining BellyflopTV I worked in a variety of roles within various industries from engineering to the financial sector, entertainment through to public transport. I’ve worked across public, private & third sector so bring a wealth of experience to the team.
You’ll generally only deal with me after your project completes as I deliver aftercare for customers. We firmly believe delivering a customers film may be the project conclusion but it’s the beginning of your film’s life. It needs to be seen by the audience it was made for, only then will you feel the true value of video. We support you to help make that happen. You may also have new projects, concepts or ideas to discuss but are not ready to plan filming dates, I can help develop a plan that will work for you.
Being involved in ‘back office’ functions I’m able to enjoy a different view of BellyflopTV, the projects we work on and my colleagues. They never cease to impress me with their dedication & commitment to provide the best possible film for our clients. I am proud to be part of the team.
