The NHS is the UK’s largest employer, and research commissioned by Every Can Counts recently discovered that 59% of NHS workers consume one or more drinks cans per week at work — 17% above the national average. So we reckon there are lots of cans ready and waiting to be recycled!

Birmingham’s Royal Orthopaedic Hospital was the first hospital to introduce Every Can Counts.

The hospital is working to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill and sees Every Can Counts as a key part of efforts to encourage its 900 staff to recycle more.
