ALU D&T Challenge 2012Posted on September 2, 2013 at 10:20 am
Over 1000 pupils aged 11-14 took part in the first Alu D&T Challenge in 2012. In our film two of the winners and their teachers talk about the competition. The Alu D&T Challenge encourages pupils to think about the importance of sustainability and the contribution aluminium can make to sustainable product design. The Challenge provides teachers with a free resource which can be used in lessons or as a club or homework activity.
Designs can be entered in a national competition (closing date 17th January 2014)
Winning pupils will receive a cash prize and a 2nd generation 3D printer for their school.
